MANIAC MANSION 3D REMAKE
Anyone else REALLY excited by this?

Posted by bedroomcoder on Jun 28, 2010 09:42 (Jun 28, 2010 09:42)

Vampyre Games seem to be getting close to completing a 3D remake of the brilliant point 'n click adventure Maniac Mansion. Here are some screenshots, to whet your appetite (and don't worry, there will be an English language version):

These screenshots have got us all excited here at Retrofusion. No release date as of yet, but keep an eye out here for more news!

Manic mansion is 1 of my favourite games.  I also like Day Of The Tentacle.  However am mixed views about this 3D version.  But knowing me, I will want to play it when it has been released lol

Ah well, may as well tell Lucasarts not to bother doing any more Monkey Island remakes, as apparently there's no point ;)

Well, it's free, so you can take it or leave it.

Really? What's the point? It will never capture the classicness of the original. It's one of those Nich ideas that only a few will gravitate too.
