DN Games have completed a remake of Infocom's classic text adventure, The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy.
Except that that's not all they've done. They have totally revamped the game and turned it into a point and click adventure, with some rather snazzy graphics and lots of interactivity.
Remember being enthralled and infuriated in equal measure by Infocom's orginal adventure? This game brings all those feelings back.
I downloaded it and gave it a try. It looks very nice but I don't think I have the time to try and get through something like this. I have spent about half an hour on it so far and haven't figured out how to cure Arthurs headache and get out of the first room. I know the original of this game is notoriously hard so it would take me years to finish it I expect. A great achievement anyway.
