Ridge Racer was one of the launch titles on the Playstation in Japan in 1994 and in the United States and Europe in 1995 and was based on Namco's hit arcade racer of the same name.
For the first competition to be held on the Retro Fusion site we would like you to race Ridge Racer's BEGINNER track on the Playstation and post a picture of your best TOTAL times over the 2 laps onto the forum - if you need the site to host the photo for you then please send them on, with your registered user name to chris@retrofusion.org.uk.
The video below shows you exactly what you have to do from loading the game up to getting onto the track that the competition is based on.
The competition will run one calendar month from this evening - so will finish on the 22nd July.
The winner will be the entrant with the fastest combined laps and will win the prize below from Retro Station which has a street vale (well average E-bay value) of £50 . Good Luck - any problems or questions then please post them in this thread and tell your friends about the competition.
