I’m in the process of moving house at the moment and it’s become a rather painful affair. See, we moved out about 4 weeks ago, but the place we’re moving into isn’t available for another 2 weeks. What this means is that I’m now in my 3rd holiday let, living out of 2 boxes and 1 bag, thankfully I’ve got my laptop and have been using mobile broadband to keep me online. The last two places I’ve stayed have been fine, but the current abode is literally in the middle of nowhere, and the internet connection speed has suffered. It’s like being back in the 80’s (I imagine. I wasn’t born ‘til ’85)  This has meant that I need to plan my internet usage, I can’t just click on links willy-nilly. Stream a video? You’re having a laugh. Have more than 3 tabs running at once? Pull the other one. It just goes to show that some things weren’t better in the ‘good old days’ and now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to buy a magazine. Staying up all night and only seeing six nipples just isn’t good enough. |
