Favourite Cartoon of the 80's

Well I have been reminded that Trap Door is not a cartoon, but still it has a place in my memories of chidhood TV.
The next in the list is Dungeons and Dragons. I have the box set containing all the episodes of this awesome cartoon - and my young kids love it to, so the series has sttod the test of time really well.

D&D was indeed a great 80s cartoon, narrowly surpassing even Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors!!

Also like Battle of the Planets..need to find a DVD compilation on the bay as I feel the need to introduce my kids to this classic as well.

Using my best leaping ability to land on the bandwagon, the D&D boxset is a great nostalgic trip.

Still holds its head up way above the Pokemon series 403, Ben 10, Dragonballzup, Squirrel scrote battlez etc...

Transformers (1986) or Hong Kong Phooey anyone? not at the same time of course.

Yea agree - I have the boxed D&D boxset box thingy. Kids have watched it over and over again - I do classify myself as one of the kids btw :-)

Oh I could sit here for ages naming lots of them but I shall start by saying Captain N.  Anybody remember it?

I don't remember Voltron, but definately remeber Battle of the Planets, however I also used to love the Space Sentinels with the three characters with their differing abilities. I also used to love the origional He-Man and probably my favourite was Danger Mouse. Phhwwoorrrr Chief !

Re: Favourite Cartoon of the 80's

I loved Voltron, the lion one and the cars one.  The third version, with 3 robots each a different color though, never came out that I know of-I only remember seeing commercials for it (maybe they were trying to go with a Robotech style meshing of 3 unrelated Japanese cartoons in America).

I will go with Transformers G1 or whatever the first cartoon series is called (loved the show, loved the comics too).  Robotech is right up there too though.
