How do you Listen To Your Music

How does everybody listen to their music?

I was still listening to my vinyl records up untill 4 years ago but the record player broke and I aint listened to a record since.  I was also still enjoying my music tapes till about 4 years ago also

Cds I still listen to.  I have loads of these and if  a cd has loads of songs I like on it, I pop it into the computer.  But I just usually type the song into youtube and listen to it on there

So its just cd's sometimes for me and usually youtube.  I also have a mp3 player but aint used it in about 2 years

p.s Anybody still use a walkman or portable cd player?

Re: How do you Listen To Your Music

I am now gradually going backwards through technology on this. I converted all my music to OGG format some years ago and did stick with that for a long time but in the last year have got back into CDs and recently got a tape player to play a handful of tape compilations I still have. Now I am looking at getting a record player and buying some special favourites on eBay.

Re: How do you Listen To Your Music

Mainly I listen to CDs but my stereo will take SD cards and USB sticks so I have a few fairly chunky cards filled with a random assortment of tunes. I can then use the stereo as a sort of 'random play' jukebox if I don't want to listen to a specific album. What selection I put in depends on my mood as I have a card filled with classical, one with a 'chilled' selection and others that encompass rock, alternative/goth/industrial/punk and 80s pop.

Two of my USB sticks double up as MP3 players as well so I can use them on the go too.

iphone for me in work on my Sony £50 earphones. Blocks all the crap of the office out and allows me to listen to C64 remixes all day (well not all day, but you know what I mean!)

iPod Video 5G with Rockbox installed so I don't have to mess with Apple and iTunes.
