| Games You Thought Were Terrible But Now Think Are Great? |

Many Many years ago  It was either christmas time or my birthday. I went to virgin with my sister to buy a Snes game. There I saw Mario Kart which I had heard about but had never played or even seen it. And also I saw Barts nightmare which I had heard about. I was both a big Mario and Bart fan but in the end I chose barts nightmare
So I got home and couldnt wait to play it. I stuck it in and I thought what a load of crap! I couldnt believe I had bought such a crap game. About a week later, I swapped with my friend who had mario kart for a few days. I then realised how big a mistake I had made. Mario kart was awesome! However after a few days it was time to swap back.
For about a month I continued to play my game every so often but not much to be honest. I just hated the game for some reason. I mostly played my other games during that month. The last time I played it I did manage to get 7 of the 8 bits of paper and managed a B+ I remember though. I then was bought Mario Kart by my parents and well, It sure was a Great game and I have so many memories playing it
Couple weeks ago my niece came over and we looked throough some old games. I popped Barts Nightmare in and for some reason after about 17/18 years, I thought the game now was amazing! We played it for atleast 2 hours really enjoying it. Have even played it several times since and enjoyed it. Other day I managed to get all 8 bits of paper and got the A+
Any of you guys have similiar stories?
Maybe it has to do with an age thing where I have enjoyed the game now more playing it as an adult rather than a 10 year old?
