Not retro maybe, but I still remember reading the stories about Thor as a kid.
The new movie is really good - went to watch it on Sunday in 3D mode - which is a subtle addition to say the least and I suspect is a way to charge more to people who want to watch it.
I reccommend it - some good battle scenes, effects are great, story is shallow. 2 hours of chilling.
I grew up with 2000ad which made all other comics look stupid to me so i just can't appreciate anything to do with Marvel or DC Comics or whatever it is. (I am presuming this is the comic book Thor and not the actual original Edda folklore poems which I would find interesting)
