Oh the Archimedes. We had these at one of the schools I went to. Back then I was apparently the man after I found out how to make custom cursors. I dont think I ever did anything else in those lessons!
Ah yes, the computer classroom! We had a few all linked up and had endless fun sending rude messages to each other. I became 'the man' when I aquired a demo of a few Lemmings levels for the them (free with some mag or other such gubbins). However I quickly became NOT the man when some little scrote nicked the full game from his dad and brought it in.
There was one of these at the RCM last weekend. Quite surprised how graphically good the machine was. - you never know, I may look to get one to play with (as I do!).
Yea, Elite was running at the show. See I nver got into Elite on any of the systems I had where I owned a copy of the game. Just not my thing. I appreciate its importance though in gaming and smile knowingly when I see it.
