What do you guys do for a living?

Me, I'm a Project Manager at a Software House just outside Solihull in the West Midlands. Been here for nearly 4 years now - cool job.

I left IT about 8 years ago and went into large scale construction health & safety, become self employed doing it and still loving it.

Electronics Engineer doing it for 19 years qualified for the last 10.

Should be good at it by now but really losing interest, would love to change but too much of a risk at the moment.

Trying to re-kindle it but modding xboxs fixing speccys/C64 but cannot seem to fit it in with 3 kids running round. Well 2 running and one jiggling around on the floor.

Blimey, my life seems so boring in comparison to you guys, I am a store manager for a major food retailer. No two days the same, pay isn't too bad and it pays the bills.

Everyone here seems pretty smart!! I'm in the RAF, doing communications. Been in about 4 and a half years, currently based in North Yorkshire but looking to get posted somewhere down south soon!

Two weeks ago I was a game designer for a big publisher/developer.

Today I'm unemployed (First time in my life I've ever had to say that), and desperatley trying to rebuild my career.

Technical Author for an Insurance Software House. Been here just over 3 years. Been doing this kind of job for almost 8 years now and much prefer it to IT support.

Currently an unemployed dole-ite, enjoying plenty of free time to play games but hating the fact I have no food and can't pay bills...

Before that I worked in several Video Game Retailers, including Virgin Megastore (where I was head of Edinburgh's Game Dept. for all of 9 months) and Game...

Before all of that I was doing the typical waster's favourite course, an NC in Media Studies followed by an HNC in TV and Video Production....
