I had loads in storage in my mums for years, quite a few boxed. My girlfriend bought me a masterpiece optimus prime a few years back and it sparked my interest again.
I dont really bother with things like beast wars though - I never quite got them.
I collect mostly G1, but also some newer stuff like movie figures and Universe/Henkei.
From the original Transformers toy collection, did they produce toys that werent even in the cartoon series or the film? I remember as a kid there was always ghostbuster and turtles toys that werent even in the cartoon series. Few years ago I was on a guys turtles site and he had all the toys. I think there was something like 350 different toys. About 20 of them was different Raphael toys for example pizza man raphael, doctor raphael etc was even a star trek raphael

I used to have all of the, what is now called, G1 Transformers, minus Megatron (parents didn't want me having a gun). Donated them all to a toy drive for kids one year. Don't regret the choice, though I miss them.
