If you’ve never heard of Kindle, Amazon’s eBook reader then here’s a brief summary: It’s an eBook reader from Amazon, called Kindle.
And now some bright spark has realised that playing games is far more interesting than finding out that Harry Potter wins and Snape turns out to be good after all (oh come on, it’s been nearly 3 years. If you’ve not read it by now you deserve to have the ending spoiled).
The video at the bottom of the article shows Super Mario Bros. playing on an emulator, there’s no colour or sound and it’s as jumpy as a nervous kangaroo but could this be what Kindle needs to make it an iPad beater?
Obviously not but if you like your games in an awkward format with a fraction of the features, this could be right up your street.
It’s not the first time Mario has tried to blur the lines between games and literature however, anyone remember the choose your own adventure books?
