Katakis is a side scrolling shooter style arcade game developed for the Commodore 64 by Rainbow Arts in 1987, and converted to the Commodore Amiga by Factor 5 in 1988. It was re-released as Denaris in 1989.
Well Katakis 2 is curently in production for the PC and includes enhanced visuals and sound, as you would expect, and is being developed by Denaris Entertainment Software. Their site just has a holding page at the current time but the team have put up a video on Youtube of some scenes from the first 3 levels of the game.
Let us what you think - looks a little too polished for my liking.
