Those nice people at Retrospec have just let us know that the remake of Ultimate Play the Game's classic Knightlore has been released to the general public. This remake has been 4 years in the making...

I spent some time playing this today. It is okay and looks nice but doesn't quite feel right. I prefer the remake that was done for the GP2x as it was closer to the original game but had no slow down and was full colour, unlike the original. Knight Lore is one of my all time favourite games and I have installed it but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I do like these RetroSpec remakes - especially the Atic Atac and Head Over Heels ones but I wish they could be ported to some home consoles like the Wii, PS2 or Dreamcast as I am not much of a PC gamer.
