This weeks Tune of the Week is the theme tune for Xenon 2 Megablast on the Atari ST. The track is by David Whittaker and is a thumping techno sound with great samples that really shows off the AY sound chip.
Proper ace music! My mate used it as the basis for his A level music exam piece. He spent hours tinkering in the music dept with a synthesiser hooked up to the old STs. Good stuff but still not the best game music piece - that goes to the end theme of Another World
Classic, used to leave this on the loading screen for ages! I would always show any of my non-ST mates this game first just so they too could be amazed by the tune!
