There was me thinking there was no way I was going to pay Nintendo upwards of £3.50 for an old Gameboy game. What a waste of dosh.
Well, so far I have purchased Tennis, Super Mario World and Zelda DX and find the experience of playing these old, but perfect games on the superb display of the Nintendo 3DS truly absorbing. It's a testament to the sheer quality of these games in the first place.
I also found out today that if you press the SELECT and START keys when loading your Gameboy game, a Gameboy graphic surround is displayed around the game. and using the 3D slider, the actual game screen is moved into the screen to give the 3D effect. Also pressing the left and right bumper when the game is running will change the colouring of the game to mimic the old Gameboy LCD.
i suggest everyone swallow their pride and buy some of these great games (I do wish they were a little cheaper though!).

I'll probably buy a 3DS when it becomes retro and try this feature!
