Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat is a lesser known title in the UK that appeared in the arcades way back when they were cool and not full of crane games. The game was converted for home use on the Commodore Amiga and NES and plays a little like a very colourful Super Sprint.
The game conversion was also completed for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive but never released, until now that is. The game has now been put onto cartridge and 50 are being sold with all the game packaging in place.
Check out the images below of the game cartridge and packaging and a video of the arcade version, then take a wonder over to Atari Age for details on how to place your order for your copy.
Cool, I do wonder how people come across these ROMs. Guess they buy the prototype and then recoup the money selling it as a product? Fair play to 'em. If it's four player and good it would almost be worth shelling out $55 for!
I still think they should sell a ROM for a fiver or whatever, but I suppose once one ROM gets out there it'll just be copied mercilessly. Better to sell it as a cart first.
