A table top arcade cab for your iPad? We can dream, anyway...

I'm not the world's most gullible gamer, but I really don't know whether to believe this one or not. The geeky retro gamer in me wants to believe it badly - so bad, real bad, a-ha - but the net jockey in me finds it a little too good to be true.
The iCade is (supposedly) a miniaturised table top arcade cabinet that accepts your awesome iPad as both the screen and the electronic guts of this magnificent MAME-esque monster. The idea being you can download some classic coin-op titles from the App Store once the iCade app is released, then play them in retro style with a ball top joystick and proper buttons. It even boasts it's own speakers and sub-woofer. It appears to be on sale for an almost reasonable $149.99 over at ThinkGeek, and there's no immediate evidence that it's a jest, but it's hard to imagine Steve Jobs signing off on an official accessory like this. Of course, it could be that iCade is aimed at the jailbreak crowd, and that's enough reason for anyone on this site to free their iPad from iTunes should it prove true.
I suspect I'm being a taken in by this device's dazzling beauty (particularly given the Super Steve Bros. game advertised - hmmm...), but it's hard not to dream about owning this slice of retro goodness. Even if it's a jape, I'd put 59p on someone cobbling one together before long (though not through the App Store, natch). Your thoughts on a postcard, please.
yeah..I seen this back in April, for a start the App "Icade" doesn't exsist, secondly they'd have to pay copyright licenecing for these games to even be allowed as part of ipad app, plus the Idea of an Nintendo game even getting a sniff of an Ipad is no-way gonna happen!, Qbert is already out as an app, the setve job thing is just some made up bullshit, I reckon that the dock it's self could be real as a charging dock only and nothing more that a fancy cureo., but then again they'd have to change the cab art, again copyrighted material, so if they put some sort of generic cab art, I could see this as a reality, but in it's current state, No. vapourware., lovely item all the same.
