Looking at the recently released video of "Child of Eden" at E3, one could be forgiven for thinking that in the 9 years since the release of Rez, the creator of both titles Tetsya Mizuguchi has had a somewhat inspiration flatline. C of E is pretty much the same game, with even some of the same sound bytes if you listen carefully, updated to work on the latest motion gadgets on the current generation consoles, namely Kinect and Move.
Rez was very much a marmite game on the Dreamcast and PS2 - will this new title win new fans over on the 360 and PS3? Time will tell...
