PRINCE OF PERSIA RETRO UPDATED FOR IPAD
The sands of time are replenished for the touchscreen retro adaptation.

Posted by Spanner on Jul 28, 2010 15:47 (Jul 28, 2010 15:47)

Ubisoft hasn't been a massive supporter of the iPhone, but it's taken advantage of the digital platform recently to pimp its games and merchandising of the big screen adaptation of its console remakes of the classic 16-bit platformer. Blimey, talk about building an empire.

Anyway, back at the beginning of June, the Ubiquitous One quietly snuck an iPhone adaptation of the original Prince of Persia game onto the App Store, keeping its release as quiet as possible in case everyone realised the newer games are far lamer than the retro giant.
Today, Prince of Persia Retro got its latest update, turning it into a universal app - so it's good for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, with properly scaled visuals on the latter - and also took the opportunity to improve the controls and action button.

Rather surprisingly it's only £0.59.$0.99, so there's no excuse not to click here before the sands of time finally run out on your iTunes credit.

I need to invest in an iPad.
Trying to play games on the iPhone is no good really.

Not when you have fat fingers anyway....
