A new version of Worms in glorius 2D is to land on the PC this coming August and is called "Worms : Reloaded".
It has been over 10 years, apparently, since a 2D game has been released on the PC platform, and in HD the Worms genre will have never looked so good - well this would be the case if you believe the press release that Retro Fusion was sent.
Worms has been successfully released on pretty much every platform since the extinction of the dinosaurs, so we can sincerely say here at RF that we are looking forward to working through the 65 new levels of worming mayhem, checking out the Bodycount mode that pits one worm against a never ending spawn of enemies and on top of that working our way through the Forts, Crate/Shopper, Bazooka and Grenade (BnG), and Rope Racing modes.
