The Nintendo DS game New Super Mario Bros. may have spent more than three years (169 weeks) in the UK all-formats top 40, but that doesn't come close to what the original Rayman achieved.
Ubisoft's platform game stood proud in a top 40 spot for an amazing 261 weeks, according to the Chart-Track data that Retrofusion was handed earlier today. Go on do the maths - that is 5 years in total.
Team17's Worms wasn't far off that with a massive 239-week slog - pretty impressive in itself.
Personally Rayman did not hit home with me personally, but these can of stats you have to respect.
