PUTTY PUTTS AGAIN!
Putty, System 3 style..

Posted by boyo on Aug 13, 2010 07:39 (Aug 13, 2010 07:39)

Putty Squad was a title developed for the Amiga back in 1994 but never saw the light of day - it did come out on the SNES but Amiga users who were fans of the Putty series were left high and dry. The SNES gamers never really appreciated the games if truth be told.

Putty Squad has is now being developed for the iPhone, iPad, and PSN so Amiga gamers everywhere can rejoice.

Starring a blob of silly putty that inflates, stretches, flattens, bounces, and in all respects behaves like putty sees you exploring a parallax scrolling world boasting 2D enemies and rescuing Putty's friends.

The games is out in the Autumn sometime, no further details have been given at this time - so watch this space.

If they're going to release more and more titles like this for the iPad I might just have to get one for that reason

I'm not really a fan of the iPad, iPad and that kind of things, but I'm glad they're helping people rediscover the fun that 2D games can give!
