Nintendo 3DS eShop Update - first impressions
Posted Jun 7, 2011 09:23 (243 days ago)
Maybe I was expecting a bit more from Nintendo’s E-shop on the 3DS – after downloading the update this morning I can only say I feel a little underwhelmed about the store so far.Yes, you get Excitebike as a free game – an 8-bit game g [...]

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?Of course you’re not. Why, that’d be crazy talk. But what if you proposed that the ZX Spectrum was the result of a botched enterprise? We love you, Clive, and we owe our youths to you (that’s our chi [...]

So 2010 is slowly coming to a close and here I am, at my desk at the office, writing a small blog to pass away the hours before I can get away with going home - probably about 4pm, a time when no-one will really notice my absence at this 'time' of the [...]

The site has gone through a bit of a lull of late – but that is not to say that it has closed or gone into hibernation for the winter. Life sometimes gets in the way of the things you really want to do – but retro runs through my veins and [...]

Pretty cheap way of doing it as well. Bought some 3mm MDF today for the bottom and back plus a rally good hot glue gun - oh and some black matt spray paint for the MDF.

Hi,The main site I write for is www.controllerthrow.com - Most of my work can be located at http://controllerthrow.com/author/whitespyderzero/ - However we've recently had a site migration and it has messed around with some of my articles, removing various bits of them; I haven't had a chance to sift through the old site to retrieve them yet.The site mainly focuses on newer releases, as does their podcast (which I occasionally guest on) but I host a sister podcast named controller Throw Presents...Player Two, that focuses on video game music and Retro trivia - http://playertwo.podbean.com

Hey Chris,Hows things? I've been working hard and had a nice holiday too.I was wondering if you still dont mind bending phil olivers ear on my behalf?I've been collaborating with a small local studio on a project based on a high profile tv show, and the owners are really excited about it. I was wondering if phil can offer any advice r.e. publishers and funding, or even if he is interested himself (on a related note the dev director is planning on contacting blitz regarding their tools).Let me know if you dont mind asking, or passing on contact details.Cheers mate.Rob.

Chris,I know I have mentioned this before, and I am sorry to go on, but the site is absolute f**king quality mate.Well done mate. This site is everything and more I tell you.Forgive me for mentioning about the Mario and Sonic background before mate. They are great. If I could, and if you were interested, would you be keen for me to interview Sefton Hill of Rocksteady Studios? (Batman AA)? I am a good friend of his brother, and have known them for years. If so, can you give me a list of questions you would like me to ask mate. Only of course if you would be interested that is.BTW - The blogs are just brilliant, its fantastic mate. This is what its really about you know. Well for me it is anyway. All the content, the way the site looks. Well done Chris. Well done mate. Retro Fusion Towers - Quality!!Darren.
